I've been trying all day to shoot blue things, I need one, maybe two more shots for my assignment due on Tuesday. I have a couple more ideas floating in my head so there could be bonus photos in another post later tonight, but this is the one shot that I am most happy with so far, shot through my hawthorne tree towards the west horizon.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I would put that up in my house. Did I mention I love it?
Beautiful! Was the sky that dark blue or did you do something special?
Tip I learned from my night photography class: a tungsten white balance is sometimes a better choice for a night sky shot, as it brings out the blues better than an auto WB setting. That's pretty much all I did!
(And I did try the shot on auto... it sucked ;) )
